2011 Working Together for a Better State of Health Leadership Summit

Public and private sector leaders held a Working Together for a Better State of Health Leadership Summit on Feb. 28, 2011. This event, hosted by the State Health Plan, highlighted current wellness initiatives across North Carolina and underscored the positive impact worksite wellness programs have on employee productivity, morale and health status as well as the associated costs.

The NC HealthSmart Worksite Wellness Toolkit for government organizations or schools is full of resources to help you organize a committee and create policies, programs, events and awareness.

Members eligible for NC HealthSmart services are members whose primary health coverage is through the State Health Plan.
